Dr. Gary Dworkin

Dr. Gary Dworkin grew up in Paramus, New Jersey and graduated from Rutgers College, New Brunswick, in 1978. He received his DMD from The University of Pennsylvania in 1982 and continued there to complete his Advanced Education in General Dentistry program in 1983. He remained at Penn as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry. The Dental Care Center (the faculty practice of the dental school) was home for the next 13 years, and he was the director of students there until 1996. He received the Earle Banks Hoyt Award for teaching excellence in 1989. In January of 1996 he joined Dr. Fred Rosen in Marlton and has been practicing general dentistry there for the past 15 years.

Dr. Dworkin has been a Fellow in The Academy of General Dentistry since 1990. He also is a Fellow in The Academy of Dentistry International, and is a member of The Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. From 1999 to 2007 he served as one of 30 members throughout the U.S. and Canada on the Council for Innovative Dentistry for the 3M/ESPE Corporation. It is an advisory committee for product development and evaluation.

Dr. Dworkin lives in Cherry Hill and has been married to Marlene for 29 years. They have a son Joel (23) and daughter Casey (20). Most of his off work time is spent traveling, golfing and complaining about his golfing.
