Dr. Stephen J. Markus

Dr. Stephen Markus graduated from Union College with a BS in chemistry, and in 1975 got his DMD from the University of Pennsylvania.  Initially, he trained under Dr. Frank Celenza and then opened his own practice - with an emphasis on anxiety control, prosthetics and esthetics on White Horse Pike in 1976 where he has grown from one chair to nine, over the past 30+ years. He has published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry (twice), and in other journals such as Contemporary Esthetics, JNJDA, and Family Practice (for MD's).

He has completed the Dawson continuum, and has received Fellowship in the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics (F.A.C.E.).  He and his three associates are all certified in New Jersey for Oral Conscious Sedation.  He is the founder of Symphonic Smiles, and trains dentists in the art of smile enhancement. He does product review for Zenith Dental Manufacturing. He lives in Cherry Hill and Ventnor with his wife of 37 years, Gail.
