Dr. Bob Stern

Dr. Robert Stern has been a resident of Southern New Jersey his entire life. Born in Vineland New Jersey, he graduated form Vineland High School in 1979. He graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 1983 with a BA. in History and a minor in Chemistry. He received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1987 and went on to receive a Certificate in Advanced Graduate Studies in Orthodontics from the  Boston University Henry  Goldman School of Graduate Dental Medicine in 1989. Dr. Stern  is a Board Certified Orthodontist and was awarded the Diplomate of the American board of Orthodontics in 1998.

Dr. Stern joined his father Dr. Gershon Stern, in the practice of Orthodontics in Vineland, Bridgeton and Pennsville New Jersey in 1989. In June of 2000,  Dr. Stern expanded his practice  to the Cherry  Hill area when he  associated with Dr. Gerald Jacobson in Cherry Hill New Jersey.

Dr. Stern is a member of the American Board of Orthodontics, A Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, The College of the American Board of Orthodontics, The Middle Atlantic Society of Orthodontists, The New Jersey Society of Orthodontists, and  The Philadelphia Society of Orthodontists. He serves on the University of Pennsylvania  School of Dental Medicine Alumni Executive Committee and is a Regional Cabinet member of the Elliot Society of Washington University in St. Louis.

Dr. Stern is involved with providing pro-bono orthodontic treatment through the Tiny Tim Foundation and Jewish Family Services. He is  a founding member and current Board member of The Cadence Cycling Foundation, a non-profit Philadelphia-based foundation whose aim is to help underprivileged inner city children create opportunities through competitive cycling.

Dr. Stern resides in Cherry Hill with his wife of 21 years, Debra, and  children, Sam, Carly, and Ally. He enjoys all outdoor activities,  has been a competitive cyclist and  avid skier. He  enjoys gardening, listening to music, and attending live concerts. His favorite activity is traveling the world by bicycle  with his  wife and children.
